Purpose of Data Collection
We collect and process personal data in order to:
- deliver First Aid training courses
- assess participant performance and issue certificates
- meet legal and regulatory obligations
- ensure the safety and well-being of participants
- process communications only where consent is provided
Data Collected
We may collect and process:
- First name and surname
- Email address and mobile number
- Identification details (where required for certification)
- Attendance and assessment records
- Emergency contact details
- Limited health information (where necessary for safety)
We may use third-party service providers (such as analytics or marketing platforms) that process data on our behalf in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Legal Basis
Data is processed based on:
- Contractual necessity
- Legal obligation
- Legitimate interest
- Consent (where applicable)
Data Retention
Training records: 5 years
Certification records: 10 years
Data is deleted or anonymised after these periods.
