The Malta Red Cross Society is a non-profit, non-governmental voluntary organisation registered with the Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations under registration number VO/0086.
The Society is established and recognised under the Malta Red Cross Society Act (Chapter 359 of the Laws of Malta), which affirms its legal personality, humanitarian mandate, and autonomous status as an auxiliary to the public authorities in the humanitarian field.
As a non-shareholding entity, Malta Red Cross has no owners, shareholders, or beneficial owners. All assets, resources, and activities are dedicated exclusively to the fulfilment of its humanitarian objectives.
