Malta Red Cross assist at the Valletta Pageant of the Seas, 2016

As the medical services provider of choice, the Malta Red Cross Society provided first aid, ambulance, and water rescue during the Pageant of the Seas this year.

An annual event, the Pageant of the Seas is a unique large-scale spectacle in the Grand Harbour and features numerous regatta boats, power boats, yachts and carnival floats.

Working with staff from the Mater Dei A&E department, Malta Red Cross volunteers remained vigilant throughout the evening, ensuring the safety of participants and spectators.
